So I came home from school to see my 7 year old sister putting skittles with my antidepressants, I went up to her and asked “Hey what you doing?” She looked at me, smiled and said “Skittles make me happy so I put them with your medicine that makes you happy so you can be extra happy.” That was the cutest thing i’ve ever heard.

how can you not reblog this

This is the single sweetest thing ever. Little kids seem to grasp concepts like this so much easier than adults. “Take the medicine cause it makes you feel better and I’ll do a think to make you extra happy”.

This is adorable. I remember my nephew asked me how he would know I was better (this was when I was in hospital). I said something along the lines of, ‘I’ll smile without trying and laugh at silly things.’ When I was babysitting him last week, we were watching Lilo & Stitch. At one point I was giggling and he kicked me from the other side of the couch and said, ‘hey, you’re better!’ I love the way kids’ minds work.

And I just cried again.
